My background includes: Chief Mate on Tankers and Car Carriers, Working in operations management for Simon Storage’s chemical storage and transhipment terminal on the Tees, Agency Manager for Casper Shipping on the Tees, Running a Maritime Training Centre for Maersk.
I am available at any time to give you advice and assistance in any aspect of shipping, freight forwarding, cargo handling, port cost estimates etc.

I started my career in the shipping industry at the age of 17 and have over 25 year's experience, the majority of which has been gained in the dry cargo/project industry.
Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (FICS).
I joined the team at of Cockfield Knight & Co Ltd in May, 2015 as Agency Manager, and very excited about mine and the companies future going forward, especially with the backing of our parent company A.V. Dawson Ltd.

I have over 15 years’ experience in the shipping industry and have worked on many types of vessels including chemical tankers, dry cargo vessels, offshore & project vessels.
I have recently been promoted to a Fellow within the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (FICS).
I joined the Cockfield Knight & Co Ltd team in January 2018 to provide all Shipping and Logistics requirement for a valued customer. This role highly motivates me to progress in my career and I hope to help the business continue to grow from strength to strength.
Working closely with Parent company A.V. Dawson Ltd I hope my wealth of knowledge can help all parties achieve a high service level. I feel the strong working partnership will ensure the business reaches the next level.

With over 20 years of management experience and the need for a new challenge
I started my shipping career in 2015 working within the Offshore Industry, I predominantly worked with turbine installation vessels specialising in the completion and maintenance of Offshore Windfarms both UK and European.
I am excited to have recently joined the team at CFK and look forward to expanding My career within CFK and the shipping industry.

I began my shipping career working for Graypen-GP Shipping as a boarding agent and then went on to work in the bunkering side of the shipping industry for Intertek Shipcare.
I joined Cockfield Knight in June 2018 and over the coming months I would like to start my studies for the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers exams to further develop my career.
I am very enthusiastic about both the company’s and my future. I feel this is a start of an exciting journey towards fulfilling my career goals in shipping.
